Open Arms Fellowship is a forming LCMS congregation in Ozark, Missouri.

In 2014 Pastor Dave Benson was called, through Faith Lutheran Church in Springfield, in cooperation with the LCMS- Missouri District, to develop this new church plant that was initiated through Redeemer Lutheran Church in Springfield. Recently (June of 2019), Pastor Jim Bartok has been called to continue this work.

The vision of Open Arms Fellowship is to gather a congregation of families and individuals in the Ozark, MO area around God’s Word and Sacraments for the purposes of salvation, worship, spiritual growth, fellowship, outreach, and service to the community in the name of Christ. This will primarily be accomplished through the operating of a Early Childhood Development Center that also serves as home base for the congregation.

Please keep Open Arms Fellowship in your prayers that God would literally open doors for them to reach out to the unchurched and de-churched people (especially young families) in the Ozark area and provide them with the Good News about Jesus and a place to belong in fellowship with God’s people.
